Tuition and Membership Fees

Most martial art schools do not openly make available their list of tuitions, membership fees and other training costs without first taking a tour of their facility or scheduling introductory classes where they appeal to your emotions so their in-house sales team can sell you on a variety of memberships.  Its hard to say no when you or your child is wearing a brand new uniform and has been "pumped up" about the classes.  At the same time however, a prospective student may not be able to rationalize the value of a martial art's program without first being exposed to the benefits of the facility and variety of training. This is not to say that commercial schools are bad.  Just be cautious when you cannot get any direct answers to any of your questions.

The Seiwa-Kai dojo is a noncommercial martial arts school.  We are fortunate that we do not rely on the income from teaching as a means of personal support.  We have never placed the value of the dollar above the value of what a student will learn and we are not about to change.  The value of a thing cannot always be measured by what it costs.  But when we receive something of value without acknowledging its worth then the value can be overlooked.  In order for the student to value the training they receive there should be some form of investment on their behalf.   Class tuition is a consideration in exchange for teaching and are as follows:

Ages 6-13
$35
.00 A Month
2- 50 minutes classes per week

Teens & Adults
$50.00  A Month
2 – 60 minutes classes per week

Dojo Membership is $30 per year and renewable by January 31st of each year.  Students enrolled after August 1st and have paid their membership fee will be carried over to the following year.  The membership fee helps to cover incurred expenses such as organizational memberships, training equipment and administrative costs including the student handbook, handbook updates, monthly newsletters and dojo cards.

Middleweight Uniforms can be purchased through the dojo at wholesale prices (includes shipping).
